Effin Thieves

On Wednesday morning, sometime between Midnight and 4 a.m. some effin losers broke into my beloved passport.

They stole JJ's ipod, and broke the mount it went on. They tried to steal the stereo, but were unable, so they just tore up the dash area surounding the stereo and destroyed everything in their reach (including the stereo)

They also stole other minor things, including the diaper bag, and our sling.

Oh and the EFFIN registration for the car too.

I haven't had such a fun week after that.

While those feet things are pretty fun (and tasty) these things they call thumbs, they are the bomb diggity.

A Funny Moment. Caitlyn's first Curse word

So being at the shop with FIL, Caitlyn's picked up a few things. Most of it is harmless. BUT
She did happen to pick up his favorite line, Piece of Shit.

Usually if he's working on a brand he hates, its We're not doing anymore (insert namebrand here) Pieces of shit. ETC.

Caitlyn is rarely in the back near him, but apparantly she's heard it before.

So one day we go to Mickey D's for lunch. She gets a happy mealof course. The toy breaks that same afternoon, she throws it down in disgust and yells "Piece of Shit"

So while attempting to hold in laughter, I tell her that we dont say that. I was shocked though that she used it in proper context.

So considering we'll have a new baby in teh house to entertain us shortly (24 days....but who's counting) I figured that I should do a thursday thirteen on the entertaining lessons we've learned from Evil Spawn Demon child Dear Daughter #1

Thirteen Things about Kris THIRTEEN THINGS I'VE LEARNED FROM MY TODDLER 1. To get the full scent out of a flower petal, one must shove it up your nose. 2. Everytime you blow your nose, you must follow with a dance. 3. Everytime the phone rings its Nana. 4. Ketchup is its own food group. 5. One can never tire of chicken nuggets, french fries, or mac & cheese 6. Food is so much tastier when it comes off someone else's plate. 7. Only purple medicine is acceptable. 8. Every Beverage tastes better with a "milk" chaser 9. Baths must have colored water, or we can't get clean. 10. Pizza solely exists so we can get melted cheese and meat for dinner. 11. Fireplace ash is a great replacement for sand. 12. Sharpies are for drawing......on your skin. 13. Pliers can easily/quickly become scissors when in the hands of a toddler and placed in the hair. The Death Of My Husbands Eyesight

I cut my hair yesterday morning. It's nothing DRASTIC, but it sure is damn noticeable. This was oh almost 36 hours ago.

D(not dear here, btw)H has yet to say one peep about it. Nothing that even says he's noticed

So I figure he must have gone blind and hasn't told me. Because surely a loving husband wouldn't be this big of an a-hole on purpose.

Who ordered the moat?

I mean I know we will have 2 girls here soon, but isn't a moat taking it a lil too far.

It's been raining non-stop here since yesterday afternoon.

OUr front yard has been replaced by a swamp.

I feel the need for a raft to get from the porch to the car.

My "I'm in the third trimester" Update

Lets see---

Week 28:

Measuring 30 cm (yep 2 wks ahead)
Weight gain since last visit: 2 lbs. *dances*

Total weight gain:22 lbs. (Yes, JC I'm in the triple digits)

Isabella's heartrate: 150's (when she's not kicking the doppler off)

Countdown to arrival: 71 days

next appt. 1/25/07

Thursday 13 #3 (a day late)

Thirteen Things I've done this week. Am I nesting? *g* 1. 6 loads of laundry (3 of which being newborn clothing/crib sheets/blankets, etc for Isabella) 2. Worked on the girls room. Preparing it for their joint sharing. 3. Unpacked boxes from old nursery full of baby/infant gear to sort through. 4. Sorted through my dresser/closet and boxed up tons of clothes I will probably never wear again. 5. Went through Jay's clothes and tossed stuff that didn't fit him anymore. 6. Picked out fabrics for Isabella's bedding. 7. Cleaned in Kitchen/Living room. 8. Sorted through Caity's toys and found places for the bazillion christmas items. 9. Hung curtains in bedroom (I can finally get dressed in my room now that people driving by can't see in) 10. Started packing hospital bag. Also packed Caity's bag for staying with Nana. 11. Started making list of what items I NEED for Isabella before she arrives. 12. Cleaned up in office. Unpacked few boxes. Put away important stuff. 13. Organized bookshelf beside fireplace.
